Kalabux is developed by Jolly Good Apps. This policy explains what information Kalabux handles when you play, how it is used, and your rights in relation to it.

The short version: Kalabux is a single-player game with no accounts. Your progress is saved only on your own device, and the app collects no personal information. We never sell your data — because we don't hold any.

1. What We Collect

Kalabux has no login, no player profile, and no online scoreboard. We do not collect personal information. Specifically:

Game progress — your factory layout, coins, upgrades, research and settings are saved locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
Language / country code — when the app starts, it reads the country setting from your device's system language settings (for example GB) and sends only that two-letter code to our server so it can return the matching language pack. We do not use your IP address to work out your location, and we do not store the country code after the translation has been served.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise or GPS location, contacts, camera, photos, an advertising identifier, or any device identifier.

2. How We Use It

To show the game's text in the language that matches your device settings.

That is the only purpose for which any data leaves your device. We do not build advertising or user profiles, and we do not sell data.

3. Where Your Data Lives & Third Parties

On your device — all of your game progress is stored on your device by the app, and nowhere else.
Language server — the two-letter country code is sent to a server operated by Jolly Good Apps solely to fetch the correct language pack. No personal data is included in that request.
App stores — Kalabux is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. When you download or update the app, those stores handle the transaction under their own privacy policies. We do not receive personal information from them.

4. Children

Kalabux requires no account and collects no personal information. The current version contains no third-party advertising, no chat or social features, and no data collection that could identify a player. It is not directed specifically at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

5. Deleting Your Data

Because all of your progress is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it:

Uninstalling Kalabux permanently removes all game data from your device.
Alternatively, you can clear the app's data from your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Kalabux → Storage → Clear data).

We hold no personal data about you on our servers, so there is nothing on our side to delete.

Planned features. We may add optional features in the future — such as anonymous analytics to help us improve the game, in-app purchases, or advertising. None of these are present in the current version. If we introduce any feature that collects additional data, we will update this policy and the app's store data-safety disclosure before that feature goes live.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Kalabux after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
